Craig Simmonds is the CEO and Founder of Propell.

Having worked in the pharmacy industry for a number of years, Craig believed the chronic disease device market was ready to be disrupted. Devices hadn’t changed but with the emergence of mobile phones consumers were using apps for an increasing number of uses.

Finding iHealth at an overseas trade show in 2013, Craig secured iHealth for Australia and launched in 2014. Having seen the potential, he set up his own business Propell to distribute iHealth. 

Prior to the pharmacy industry, Craig was a ladies shoes designer for Diana Ferrari. This reasonates with Craig’s passion for beautiful design, functionality and adapting technology to improving outcomes. 

In 2021 Propell added Wellysis ECG to its portfolio. Having a Bluetooth ECG monitor enables more patients to be monitored using Propell's expertise.

In November 2023, we added two new devices companies: Remmie Health and OxiWear. Remmie Health is a wireless otoscope. This innovative device allows people to view ear, nose and throat and share images with their doctor. OxiWear is the first ever ear-wearable for continuous oxygen monitoring and alerting. Ideal for people with COPD ands respiratory conditions.

Craig and his team ensures that everything Propell does is to help people better monitor their chronic disease.
